The former Trefin YHA is now a four-star independent hostel called The Old School Hostel (tel 01348 831800, www.theoldschoolhostel.co.uk). It is open all year, with 18 beds including singles, doubles and twins as well as shared accommodation and also offers breakfast and a packed lunch service. Prices are from £11 per night.
