Edward de la Billière

Edward de la Billière specializes in natural history, conservation, travel and adventure travel stories, writing regularly for The Daily Telegraph and The Independent as well as various magazines, and freelancing for the BBC’s Natural History Unit on Radio 4 and BBC1.

His training for the Pennine Way, ‘the big one’, included climbing Alaska’s Mt McKinley with a blind and half-paralysed man (filmed for the BBC’s QED series) and running the 1200-mile Iditarod sled dog race across Alaska (filmed for the BBC’s Extreme Lives series).

He lives in the Peak District National Park with his wife Pips and their two boys, Barnaby and Toby, and he moonlights as a white-collar crime lawyer in Manchester.
