Worth watching out for.

Charlie Loram

Charlie Loram first travelled to India in 1992 having graduated in geography from Newcastle University.

Fascinated by the Himalaya and the self-reliant, compassionate people whose home it is, he returns almost every year.

In addition to many months in Ladakh researching and updating Trekking in Ladakh he has spent time studying the culture and environment of neighbouring Lahaul where he worked closely with local environmental organisations as co-ordinator of a research expedition.

Charlie leads treks throughout the Himalaya and has also contributed to Trailblazer's Trekking in the Annapurna Region.

When not writing or travelling he teaches the Alexander Technique in Britain and escapes as often as he can to walk, climb and cycle in the island's wilder corners.
